After tween-aged Violet finally receives a new phone, she begins to realize the responsibilities of having a phone and social media. Eager to fit in, Violet finds herself swept up in the thrill of likes and approval from her classmates. But when an unflattering photo of a fellow student , taken with Violet’s phone, is shared without permission-and goes viral in their school-Violet is faced with a choice. Caught between wanting to belong and doing what’s right, Violet must decide. Should she stay silent and protect her new social status or speak out and face the consequences?
